Stay On Top of Web Design Trends in 2016

Web design has grown tremendously in popularity over the past decade. With site like Myspace and tumbler allowing users to customize their pages through the use of HTML and CSS web designing has become a huge part of today’s culture. As such, there have been many trends over the years, in the way that individuals learn, use and apply different methods of development. I’d like to show you some of the best trends that have appeared this year and also discuss what I think are the best and ones I use personally.

User Interface Patterns

Responsive design has become common place in most websites these days, and because of this the majority of websites have begun to look very similar. Not saying that this is a bad thing but it can be prone to causing a bit of confusion when looking for s specific sight. And honestly it can get a little stale from time to time.

Long Scrolling for the masses

I don’t particularly care for long scroll websites because I find them difficult to navigate. I say navigate because I’m not really sure what word to use there. I mean obviously everything is laid out properly for you, but finding a specific page can be a real pain sometimes Other people seem to love them so, I guess I’m in the minority here.

Learning development

Learning is a lifelong passion of mine and it’s something I care a great deal about. When things like this can also be applied to work and life. Then that just makes them that much better. There are literally hundreds of sites on the net that will teach you everything about web development. From the absolute basics to learning how to masterfully craft beautiful websites in a matter of minutes.

And there you have it, the top trends worth talking about this year and beyond.
